1. The service, in plain language
HookThatCall is a subscription tool that helps home-service shops build ads and commercials. You pick a template from the Tackle Box, enter your own offer, phone number, and business details once, and the builder renders that ad three ways: a Facebook/Instagram ad, a Google text ad, and a 15–30 second commercial script. Your dashboard shows which of your ads are pulling calls and which ones are quiet.
What HookThatCall is not: we do not buy ad space for you, we do not run your ad accounts, and we do not promise calls, jobs, or revenue. The ads are yours. The results are yours. Ad spend is always separate — you pay the ad platforms directly, and their rules apply on top of ours.
The one rule that matters most: every ad must use your own photos, your own offers, and your own reviews. HookThatCall never invents testimonials, review counts, prices, or results for you. If a number is in your ad, it is a number you gave us.
2. Pricing
Creator — $97/mo. One trade of your choice, all 6 lures for that trade. Builder, all three ad formats, dashboard, and launch kit included.
Pro — ~$247/mo. Planned pricing, confirmed at launch. The whole Tackle Box — all 30 lures across all 5 trades — plus AI assistance, notifications, and a free 2-week CatchThatCustomer audit.
Hook & Catch bundle — ~$397/mo. Planned pricing, confirmed at launch. Full access to HookThatCall Pro and CatchThatCustomer Pro. Saves $97/mo versus the two top tiers separately ($494).
Ad spend is separate. The subscription covers the builder, the templates, the dashboard, and the launch kit. Money you spend on Facebook, Instagram, Google, or TV goes to those platforms, not to us, and is not included in any price above.
[Trial terms — to be confirmed before launch.]
3. Your content — what you put in, what you own
- You own your ads. The business name, offers, photos, and reviews you enter are yours. The ads the builder renders from them are yours to run, download, and keep.
- We own the templates and the platform. The Tackle Box lures, the builder, the dashboard, and the HookThatCall name and icon stay ours.
- Only your own material. You agree that the photos, reviews, prices, and claims you enter are genuinely yours and true. Do not upload stock photos as if they were your crew, and do not enter review counts or star ratings you did not earn.
- No invented proof. The builder is designed to refuse to invent numbers. If a field is empty, the preview shows a placeholder, not a made-up figure.
4. Your ads and the law
- You are responsible for everything in your ads. If your ad says "$49 furnace tune-up," that offer has to be real and available. False or misleading advertising is your responsibility — and so is using anyone else's photos, artwork, words, logos, or reviews without permission. If anything in your ad is wrong, misleading, or belongs to someone else, you must fix it or take the ad down. HookThatCall does not review your ads for you.
- Check everything before you publish. The builder — you — is the last pair of eyes. You are responsible for making sure every ad and commercial is correct and accurate before it goes out, including the offer, the price, the phone number, and the claims it makes.
- AI assistance does not change that. If you use the Pro AI assistance to draft ads, the AI can misword things, get details wrong, or lose work. We are not liable for lost work or misworded information the AI produces. Review every AI draft for accuracy before you publish it — the responsibility stays with you.
- Platform rules apply. Facebook, Instagram, Google, and TV platforms each have their own advertising policies. An ad HookThatCall builds can still be rejected by a platform, and a rejection is between you and that platform.
- No guaranteed results. We show you which ads pull calls and which ones go quiet, but we do not guarantee calls, bookings, or revenue from any template.
- Licensed work only. You agree that the services your ads offer are services you are licensed and insured to perform where required.
5. Accounts and billing
- One account per shop. Your subscription covers one business. A second trade on Creator is a second $97/mo subscription; Pro covers all five trades.
- Billing. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. [Payment processor, billing date rules, and failed-payment handling — to be confirmed before launch.]
- Changes. You can change your Creator trade or upgrade to Pro at any time. [Proration rules — to be confirmed before launch.]
6. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. [Cancellation steps, end-of-period access, and refund policy — to be confirmed before launch.] Your ads and the files the builder made for you remain yours after cancellation; access to the builder, the Tackle Box, and the dashboard ends when the paid period ends.
7. Privacy — what we collect and what we do with it
- What we collect: your business name, trade, town, phone number, offers, and the ad content you build; your account email and billing details; and usage data such as which templates you build and which ads you run.
- What we do with it: we use it to run the builder and the dashboard, to show you your own results, and to contact you about your account. We do not sell your information.
- Your customers' information: HookThatCall does not collect or store your customers' personal information. Calls and clicks your ads generate go to you, through your phone number and your ad accounts.
- Photos you upload stay on your device in the demo and are stored only as part of your account once accounts exist. They are never used in another shop's ads.
- Cookies and analytics. [Analytics tools and cookie use — to be confirmed before launch.]
8. Text alerts (Pro notifications)
Pro includes notifications such as quiet-ad alerts, call alerts, and the weekly AI report. If you choose text delivery, you agree to receive account alerts by text message at the number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any alert to opt out of texts; opting out of texts does not cancel your subscription. [Notification delivery channel and frequency — to be confirmed before launch.]
HookThatCall sends texts only to you, the account owner — never to your customers. Texts to your customers are CatchThatCustomer's product, under its own terms.
9. Liability and availability
- The service is provided "as is." We work to keep the builder and dashboard available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
- Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the [time period — to be confirmed] before the claim arose.
- Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of [State of Ohio]. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here and, for paying customers, sent by email before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms: [Company Legal Name], support@hookthatcall.example. [Mailing address — to be added before launch.]

Attorney review checklist
For the $30 consult — what the lawyer needs to settle before this page goes live:
- Entity: no LLC exists yet. File first so the terms carry the real company name, not a placeholder.
- Name screen: USPTO screen done — zero records for the exact term "HookThatCall." Attorney flags: registered single-word HOOK (serial 90218149, Hook Technology Ltd, CRM software) and a crowded HOOK field in advertising (class 035). Same consult also covers the CatchThatCustomer screen and its CATCH flag.
- FTC ad claims: the "only your own photos, offers, and reviews" rule, the builder's refusal to invent numbers, and the new section 4 language — the owner is responsible for false advertising, other people's art or words, and for checking AI drafts before publishing — confirm this allocation actually protects the company.
- Text alerts: Pro notifications by text — confirm consent and STOP language, and that texts go to the account owner only.
- Billing, cancellation, refunds: fill every bracketed item in sections 5, 6, and 9 before launch.
- Bundle terms: the $397 Hook & Catch bundle spans two products — confirm one set of terms covers it or two are needed.
